I'm being vague so I do not hint at storyline (I really hate spoilers). It held my interest & I really did find it very enjoyable, it's just that certain portions really ruined the anime. Which is why I dropped the score to a 6.75... | ||

8.25 (good) | I was pleasantly surprised when I watched this Anime. It turned out to be a lot better than I expected. The characters were all enjoyable and the story was really cute. The ending left me wanting more, but I suppose that's not really a bad thing. Just wish Enishi was longer than it was. | ||

You can call that an ending. It's obvious that they were only about halfway finished when the ended the anime. (which I'm sure the manga finished) However, if that was the case, then why did you animate it in the first place? | ||

The animation was good for it's time, the characters were detailed with in-depth histories, and the story was Amazing. If you ask me it was ahead of it's time. However after watching both Clannad TV & After Story I must admit it is amazing Anime. I tip my hat to the animators on this one, it's one of the prettiest animations I've seen in a "long" time. The story was heartfelt & cute, definitely one that deserves to be watched multiple times. ^_^ | ||

However I will say that I was thoroughly satisfied with it, naturally there were some parts I feel could've been approached differently but that's just my personal opinion. 7.25 (above average) | I think Ikkitousen (all three of them) is being severely underestimated because of the way the characters are portrayed. People take one look at it & turn away because they think it's just a bunch of half-naked women fighting aimlessly while focusing only on their bodies. They couldn't be more wrong, those were my first thoughts as well, but after watching them I stand corrected. It is actually a pretty good fighter from a martial arts standpoint. I'm sure many more people would enjoy it as well if they gave it a chance. | ||

Of course there is always something they "should" have or "could" have done but overall it was worth watching. I say give it a chance, I feel it wasn't as "dark" as they were trying for but & it actually came across as a "happy" anime which is weird considering the storyline. The animation was gorgeous, the characters were "very" detailed and each had an in-depth history. The "nail in the coffin" was the story... Wow... It had my undivided attention from start to finish, it was suspenseful, intense, and emotional. Definitely one of the best I've "ever" seen. By the time it was over I was emotionally shaken & in tears... Literally... and that's "never" happened to me before... | ||
