10.00 (excellent) I don't even know what to say... It was perfect, I've never rated an Anime a 10, but I must say this Anime deserves a 10.00 hands down. The animation was gorgeous, the characters were "very" detailed and each had an in-depth history. The "nail in the coffin" was the story... Wow... It had my undivided attention from start to finish, it was suspenseful, intense, and emotional. Definitely one of the best I've "ever" seen. By the time it was over I was emotionally shaken & in tears... Literally... and that's "never" happened to me before...

9.75 (excellent) I'm speechless, finally an anime to quench my darker hunger... The storyline is original & well written, the animation is crisp & gripping, there really isn't a bad thing I have to say about this Anime. Definitely not for children, but I love the dark, sinister "feel" of the Anime. This one is definitely in my top ten, and that says a "lot." If you haven't given this one a chance you need to. If not you're missing out!

9.00 (very good) It was one of the first "mature" Anime's I've ever seen, and it's a classic hands down. The animation was good for it's time, the characters were detailed with in-depth histories, and the story was Amazing. If you ask me it was ahead of it's time. If you haven't watched this one then you need to. Yeah, it's that good. :D

However after watching both Clannad TV & After Story I must admit it is amazing Anime. I tip my hat to the animators on this one, it's one of the prettiest animations I've seen in a "long" time. The story was heartfelt & cute, definitely one that deserves to be watched multiple times. ^_^

8.25 (good) I must say I was pleasantly surprised! I wasn't sure what to expect when I started watching it but after about 15 mins or so into the first episode I had my undivided attention. The storyline was very original with a unique twist and not many anime's have that anymore. It also held some of the most fluid and well drawn animations that I've seen in a "long" time. Over all solid from start to finish & the ending was just icing on the cake. XD

8.25 (good) This Anime was much better than I anticipated. The story seemed to be predictable but in truth it really wasn't (which is a good thing). The characters backgrounds were all solid & it kept me guessing the whole time. My one and only complaint is that it ended too soon, I feel as though they could have kept it going if they chose to.

8.00 (good) Overall I enjoyed it, though the beginning was somewhat bland to me. I enjoyed the different animation style they used & the storyline was pretty good. Of course there is always something they "should" have or "could" have done but overall it was worth watching. I say give it a chance, I feel it wasn't as "dark" as they were trying for but & it actually came across as a "happy" anime which is weird considering the storyline. Regardless everyone should at least watch it once.

There were a few points that I didn't like, but that's just my personal opinion, overall the anime itself was well done & definitely worth watching. ^^

I won't say "o my this is amazing", but I will say it was worth watching. ^^

7.75 (good) This one had a very interesting storyline, it also supplied descent action so it kept me intrigued. The animation was average, the style didn't really stand out much. However I will say that I was thoroughly satisfied with it, naturally there were some parts I feel could've been approached differently but that's just my personal opinion. Overall it was a solid anime no doubt about it.

7.75 (good) A solid story backed by beautiful art, I couldn't ask for anything more. The characters are enjoyable and the storyline is quite original yet it feels nostalgic somehow. Perhaps it reminds me of past anime I've watched in a way? Hmmm... The thing that stood out most to me was the animation style, I simply loved it. It has a similar feel to Princess Mononoke, yet this animation was much smoother. This was visible to me especially during the action scenes which were done quite beautifully.

7.50 (good) After watching the first 2 seasons I can't help but feel a bit disappointed. Not on the Anime's behalf, but on the companies behind it. They're still debating as to whether or not season 3 will even be released, and I'm stuck waiting. There is a large amount of storyline left to be covered & if they cut it here I'll be very disappointed indeed. *sigh*

Well enough ranting about it, the anime itself I found to be rather cute. It's storyline was original, and since I've watched many of clamp's work it feels like an all-star cast! I recognize most of the characters from previous anime's I've already watched, and I was both pleasantly surprised as well as confused at first. Overall I'd say that was a major plus though, definitely an extra treat for those of us who've watched their earlier work. ^_^
